Dear Friend,
As we end the year, we want to express our profound gratitude for the way you have stepped in to support the survivors we have served and the work that we do together to see safety, connection, and community for survivors of sexual exploitation in Central Texas.
This year has been a year of transition, stabilization, and hope. AND it has taken grit, steadfastness, and courage from our staff and clients to navigate it. In 2025, because of YOUR faithful support, we:
Provided 894 nights of safe shelter, 427 hours of case management, 87 hours of our Restore Program, 117 medical and behavioral health supports, and 50 hours of legal and immigration support.
Developed an enhanced collaborative approach through our Direct Services Team, which includes our Case Manager, Restore Director, and Resident Support Coordinator, that provides a depth of care to each of the clients we serve, changing our programs for the better and improving client outcomes.
Hired and onboarded our Communications and Donor Engagement Coordinator, Jaclyn Byrd!
Co-hosted a training with Kirsta Melton, a 20+ year prosecutor and the founder of Institute to Combat Trafficking, for law enforcement investigators and assistant district attorneys from Travis County and surrounding areas on building and prosecuting Human Trafficking cases.
Trained the Austin Independent School District Police Department on the Intersection of Human Trafficking and Disability and ways they can support and intervene to care for their students.
Lastly, our team, clients, Board of Directors, and community were beautifully supportive and engaged as I completed my first year as Executive Director.
As we look to 2026, we are committed to building communities of safety and deep connection because we believe that the individuals we serve are worthy of responsive, consistent, and holistic care.
Survivors deserve a safe, supportive community that shows up for them when they need it most.
Answering the call when our clients need support on their journey and working with our community partners to collaborate are among the greatest gifts of our work. We believe that consistent, compassionate responses lead to trust, and trust is the foundation of the kind of relationship that can foster hope and healing.
Because hope always answers.
This holiday season, we need to raise $100,000 to continue showing up for survivors and walking alongside them through holistic programming and community collaboration. Will you consider an end-of-year donation to bring responsive, individualized, and creative care to survivors of trafficking and exploitation TODAY? Give a gift of any size at redoakhope.org/donate. Thank you for your continued support of freedom, hope, and restoration.
With great hope,
Haley Patterson | Executive Director
