restoration by helping us build communities of belonging every day through direct services to survivors of sexual exploitation.

WHY DOES SAFE COMMUNITY MATTER?
​
On this day of collective giving, we want to invite you into the story that is being written for survivors of sexual exploitation and human trafficking every day in Central Texas. We believe that healing happens in relationship. For a survivor to heal, stabilize, and stay free from revictimization, it is critical to provide holistic and individualized care.
​
We do this by being present, providing case management and shelter (among other services). Woven through each interaction, each opportunity to meet a felt need, and each chance to respond, we are also building foundations for safe relationships and healthy connections. For each woman we work with, we believe that true and lasting healing and stability centers on connection and deep belonging.
When we provide safe shelter, medical care, a ride, legal assistance support, and mental health care, we provide critical support and lay a brick in the foundation of trust and safety for healing and flourishing.
